Shelley is a seasoned consulting entrepreneur who successfully built a strategic consulting practice focused on the health tech sector after transitioning from “big” consulting. Frustrated by the long hours and inefficiencies involved in responding to RFPs, she often thought, “There has to be a better way to do this.” As AI technology advanced, she saw its potential to transform the RFP process—leading to the creation of Proquesto.
Before founding Proquesto, Shelley held leadership roles at Huron Consulting, Accenture, and multiple startups, where she honed her expertise in driving growth and fostering innovation. Her leadership is defined by a deep commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline operations and deliver exceptional value to clients.
Shelley’s vision for Proquesto is to harness artificial intelligence to revolutionize the RFP process, making it more efficient, intelligent, and effective for businesses across industries. Under her guidance, Proquesto is set to redefine industry standards in AI-powered RFP solutions.
Brian is a seasoned healthcare consulting executive with extensive experience leading teams running large-scale ERP and Workforce Management (WFM) initiatives at top-tier healthcare-focused consulting firms. His career began in professional services, where he collaborated with health systems nationwide to optimize labor utilization. Through progressively senior roles in both sales and services, Brian gained valuable operational insights on how to meet client needs and solve operational problems.
Prior to founding Proquesto, Brian held leadership positions at Accenture and UKG (formerly Kronos Incorporated), where he honed his expertise in driving growth and fostering innovation. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to establish a successful consumer product import/export business.
Brian has always strived to leverage cutting-edge technology to streamline operations and deliver exceptional value to clients. His vision is to ensure Proquesto is poised to redefine industry standards in AI-powered RFP solutions, drawing on his extensive background in technology and strategic consulting.
Vivek Mehta is an AI entrepreneur who has built multiple successful startups. As the Co-founder and CEO of PeopleTransform.ai, he applied AI to help organizations accelerate growth and unlock the full potential of their workforce.
He is also the Co-founder and CEO of Weeve.ai, where he led the creation of the first “Empathetic AI” assistant for employee engagement—enabling companies to understand and resolve workforce concerns 18 times faster. Recognized as a top startup by MassChallenge and selected for the US Air Force Small Business Innovation Research program, Weeve.ai is using AI to solve complex problems like employee turnover, process improvement, and change management.
Through each of his ventures, Vivek has repeatedly navigated the demanding process of responding to RFPs—under tight deadlines while juggling multiple roles. Whether securing enterprise clients, government contracts, or strategic partnerships, proposal writing was a necessary but time-consuming challenge. After connecting with Shelley and Brian, he realized he wasn’t alone in this frustration. That shared experience inspired him to build Proquesto - to make life easier!
Before launching his ventures, Vivek was a consultant at Deloitte Digital, where he worked on large proposal writing teams and experienced firsthand the challenge of crafting winning proposals while managing other responsibilities. As the head of “Special Ops” on the Affordable Care Act implementation, he tackled high-stakes challenges that required a deep understanding of technical, business, and legal landscapes—making it even harder to find time to focus on responding to RFPs.
Beyond startups, Vivek has an eclectic background—he was one of the first Twitch streamers, a DJ for a hip-hop collective, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo with 15 years as a martial arts instructor.
